Gareth is a Partner in our Real Estate team having trained and qualified at a leading international City firm. He joined Capital in January 2025 following a period of working in-house at St Modwen Properties Limited, a Blackstone portfolio company, as Head of Legal.
Gareth has a broad, multidisciplinary real estate practice and acts for a range of clients from developers, investors, operators, private equity, lenders, and investment managers across all asset classes.

Part of the leadership team that delivered the corporate restructure of the former FTSE 250 group to split out the logistics business from the homes and regeneration businesses that culminated in a c.£1 billion debt financing of the standing logistics portfolio and development pipeline.

Oversaw the corporate acquisition of the Trafford Park and Heywood industrial estates for £480m comprised within acquired three Jersey Property Unit Trusts from Harbert Management Corp that went on to win Property Week’s Deal of the Year in 2024.
DP World
Advising on the development, property management and financing of DP World London Gateway in Essex, one of the largest deep sea container ports and associated logistics parks in Europe.
Redevco
Leading on Redevco’s £70 million acquisition of all the commercial premises at One Tower Bridge from the Berkeley Group.
