British producer Moon&Back Media receives investment from Asylum Entertainment Group
L-R: Russ Lindsay, Dawn Airey & Nigel Hall, Moon&Back Media
Based in London, Moon&Back Media was founded by producer Nigel Hall (Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!), media business superstar Dawn Airey (Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, Sky) and talent manager Russ Lindsay (Ant & Dec, Simon Cowell). As longtime collaborators, the trio have reunited to launch Moon&Back.
Having first started working for Russ when he was in partnership with James Grant Media and Peter Powell, our team at Capital Law was delighted to continue to support Russ and his new venture in this latest opportunity.
The investment from Asylum Entertainment Group, the production group backed by Endeavour run by Steve Michaels, allows Moon&Back the access into a global portfolio to create the very best unscripted content for their audiences around the world.
Our Corporate law team of experts included Tom Kelleher, Catherine James, Catherine Golledge, Susanne Matthissen, Nicole Crumbie and Emily Allison.
Russ Lindsay, talent manager & co-founder of Moon&Back commented:
I’ve worked with Capital Law for many years and we’re grateful for their support on this deal. The team endured many late nights, going above and beyond to ensure successful completion for us.
Dawn Airey, co-founder of Moon&Back commented:
I had heard only wonderful things about you and Capital. Now I have experienced it first-hand. You are all a class act. You have been supportive, clear, calm and tough when needed. Thank you for navigating us to this point – the beginning of Moon&Back. Lots more to come.
Tom Kelleher, who leads Capital’s Corporate & Private Equity team, said:
This is going to be something special! The track records and wealth of experience of Russ, Dawn and Nigel speak for themselves and the investment from Asylum Entertainment into Moon&Back will allow them to create some amazing content; can’t wait to watch!
