You’ll handle a variety of debt finance matters, including general corporate finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, real estate and development finance, and international debt finance transactions — all with the support of an experienced team.

We advise on deals of all sizes, from small business loans to complex credit facilities exceeding £100 million.

Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with partners, associates, trainees, and paralegals on complex, innovative transactions for our national and international clients.
  • You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where meeting tight deadlines is essential.
  • You will be expected to develop existing client relationships while building your own network, client base, and professional skills.
  • You will be required to maintain high standards of professional conduct, complying with SRA regulations as well as internal compliance procedures and systems.

You’ll need:

  • 1-4 years PQE with experience in a reputable banking and finance team.
  • A solid mix of both transactional and general banking experience.
  • The ability to manage transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Experience in conducting research, performing searches, and reviewing due diligence documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities, time management, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • A team-focused, flexible, and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
  • Technical competence and commercial awareness, along with the drive and enthusiasm to help deliver outstanding client service.
  • A strong client focus and the willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities.

In return, we offer.

  • Flexible working
The ability to work between home and the office as needed.
  • Health and wellbeing
Subsidised in-person and virtual yoga, wellbeing events, and our ‘Time to Move’ scheme, which encourages time away from the desk for a break.
  • Career development opportunities
As a fast-growing and ambitious firm, we value your ambition too. We offer promotion opportunities twice a year, supported by a robust and supportive career development framework.
  • Excellent rewards and benefits
Competitive pension scheme, comprehensive health plan, life assurance, option to buy or sell annual leave, recognition scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, on-site chiropractor (once a week), on-site chef (free lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays), shower facilities, regular social events, and more.
