Joseph is a Solicitor in our Public Law Team.
Joseph assists and advises on a variety of issues, on both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters, for public bodies, trade unions, and regulated businesses.
As part of his LLB Degree at Cardiff University, Joseph undertook a year-long professional placement in the Financial Services Team in Capital, assisting with regulatory and contentious work in the financial services and insurance sectors.
On a pro-bono basis, Joseph previously worked as a caseworker on the Cardiff University Innocence Project, where he helped generate appeals for those who maintain innocence regarding serious convictions.
Aside from work, Joseph is an active member of the firm’s Mental Health and Wellbeing initiative, working to destigmatise mental health and to increase wellbeing in the workplace.

Assisting Veezu, the UK’s fastest growing taxi and private hire technology platform, to successfully overturn a High Court decision, in the Court of Appeal, which has resulted in the preservation of the use of the agency model in the PHV sector: D.E.L.T.A. Merseyside Limited and Veezu Holdings Limited v Uber Britannia Limited.
The Gambling Commission
Advising the Gambling Commission in relation to the Fourth National Lottery Competition, and adjacent litigation, as well as broader regulatory matters provided for under the Gambling Act 2005.
