Nicola Cullen

Nicola Cullen is an Associate in our Public Law and Regulatory team.

Nicola joins us from East Sussex County Council, where she worked for 10 years, starting as a Legal Secretary in the Litigation department and progressing through various roles, including Practice Manager, and legal departments, before qualifying as a solicitor in Public Procurement and Contracts in 2021.

Nicola has experience in:

• Public procurement tender exercises, assisting with all stages of the process, and drafting options appraisals for potential procurement routes;
• Contract and agreement drafting, including but not limited to procurement documents, memorandums of understanding, grant agreements, IT contracts and asset purchase agreements;
• Subsidy control compliance, providing ad hoc advice;
• Contract management and non-contentious commercial dispute resolution;
• Assisting with drafting and reviewing internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal constitutions and legislation.
