Rachel is a partner and leads our Financial Services team, providing financial services regulatory advice to innovative Fintech clients and traditional financial services firms.
She is an experienced financial services regulatory lawyer, advising on a wide range of regulatory and insurance issues in the financial services and insurance sectors. Her clients include Fintechs, Insurtechs, insurers, brokers, crypto-asset businesses, wealth management firms, banks and payment service providers.
Rachel specialises in a wide range of regulatory matters such as assisting with FCA/PRA authorisations, new product launches, Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) and the Consumer Duty, and managing regulatory governance, conduct risk.
She advises on the UK regulatory aspects of cryptoassets and blockchain.
Rachel is well known for her expertise in advising Fintech and Insurtech firms, being a founding member and director of Fintech Wales.
She collaborates with a global network of specialist regulatory lawyers to assist many UK regulated business to navigate expansion overseas and non-UK businesses to launch in the UK.
